HAVE A HEART FOR HAITI

Lutheran World Relief (LWR) collects and distributes necessary items such
as blankets, clothing, and school supplies to people all over the world. The
earthquake in Haiti has seriously depleted their warehouses and Lutheran
schools all over the United States have been asked to help replenish their
supplies. St. Mark CDC is collecting items to send health kits to LWR for
distribution in Haiti. I would like to the see the kids of St. Mark’s Sunday
School help out in this process as well.

The following items make up a health kit:
1 hand towel (dark color preferred)
1 wash cloth (dark color preferred)
1 bar bath soap, in original package
1 adult size toothbrush, in original package
1 sturdy comb
1 metal nail file or nail clipper with file attached
6 bandaids, 1/2 - 3/4"

Donations of individual items or a complete kit would be much appreciated.
This is a good way for even our youngest children to learn how to care for
others. Let’s see if we can join in and lending a helping hand. Thanks.

Please have items to church before April 16.
